On Monday 16/3/09 I had the job of assessing NXEC Leeds based driver Russell Wiiliams for competence to drive over the Hertford North diversion. KX Thunderbird 67021 was used for this purpose and Russell is seen posing by the loco whilst stood north of Molewood Tunnel to await the 1140 to Moorgate to depart ahead of us. Signalmen eh ? Dont ya just love them.....A 75MPH light loco being held to follow an 'all stations'....
